Heidelberg USA Named Authorized Reseller of palamides' Automatic Deliveries
The delta is designed to streamline the production process by greatly reducing the amount of time and labor involved in gathering folded or saddle-stitched product onto a skid. The net result: a shot in the arm to productivity and lower personnel costs. palamides delta automatic deliveries for folding machines and saddlestitchers are ideally suited for the fast, orderly production of folded leaflets, signatures, and mailings, in addition to stitched brochures and catalogs. Heidelberg will sell the palamides automatic deliveries separately, or bundled with the purchase of a folder or saddlestitcher. Heidelberg also will sell Saphira consumable banderoles.
palamides delta automatic deliveries are distinguished by their mobility and compact footprint. They also set up quickly, resist marking, and are notable for their expert handling of slippery coated materials. A large capacity storage table permits time between packing. For some mailing applications and internal handling requirements, a chipboard inserter feature is available to prevent sheet damage and to stabilize the packet when running lightweight stock.
“As an Authorized Reseller of palamides delta automatic delivery systems, Heidelberg will enable our customers to maximize the high-performance characteristics of their existing Stahlfolder and Stitchmaster equipment, as well as derive significant production cost savings,” said Dan Maurer, Vice President Postpress Product Management. “Access to Heidelberg’s world-class service and support provides further assurance that their investments will be protected.”
In preparation for customer demonstrations, Heidelberg USA has installed the palamides delta 703 Automatic Delivery on a Stahlfolder TH 82 in its Tech Center in Kennesaw, where it can be rolled over to a Stitchmaster ST450 in a matter of minutes. A video of the palamides delta 703 Automatic Delivery attached to Heidelberg’s Stahlfolder TH 82 running at over 45,000 banded pieces per hour, and Heidelberg’s Stitchmaster 450 running at 12,000 pieces per hour may be viewed at www.youtube.com/heidelguy.
