Heidelberg USA Releases New Product Installation Report

M&R Manufacturing Boosts Productivity with Printmaster PM 52 from Heidelberg
M&R Manufacturing, Elmsford , N.Y. replaced an existing 4-color Heidelberg GTO with a new Printmaster PM 52 5-color press late last year to reap the benefits of its advanced automation, including faster speeds and higher quality. The general commercial printer has enjoyed an increase in productivity of at least 50 percent since the installation, reports owner Mitch Schilkraut. The all-Heidelberg shop, a customer since 1995, also operates a Printmaster QM 46, a Stahlfolder B 20, and a POLAR 78X cutter. Its prepress department boasts a Prosetter 52 violet platesetter supported by Prinect Meta Dimension RIP and Signa Station imposition module. Established in 1993 and with seven employees, the company provides a primarily local clientele with a wide variety of commercial print products, including brochures, sell sheets, envelopes and self-mailers.
