Menu Works Feeds Appetite for Success with Heidelberg Printmaster QM 46-2
Menu Works has grown from a single person operation to a booming business with more than 1,500 restaurant customers during the past 13 years. Menu Works’ team of 22 “menu specialists” are able to fully accommodate their clients, from in-house menu design to printing covers, table stands, menus, business cards, gift certificates and placemats. The quality of Menu Works’ offerings is now better than ever with the installation of a new Heidelberg Printmaster QM 46-2. “We run two-color to-go menus and kids’ placemats on the P-QM 46,” said Bruce Jones, production manager for Menu Works in Greenville , S.C. “We can now print with much better resolution than before.” Since its customer base continues to grow to more than 40 states, requests for 500 menus are now turning into requests for 5,000 to 10,000 menus, and Menu Works can accommodate those large order quantities. Jones, familiar with Heidelberg ’s reputation of excellence, turned to Heidelberg for a press that could help alleviate Menu Works’ growing pains and keep more of their work in-house. “We are very pleased with the P-QM 46,” said Jones, who says he will look to Heidelberg in the future for their press needs as Menu Works continues to grow.
