The booth concept incorporated two key elements of the print media industry—printing plates and type—which also helped people find their way around. Visitors to the booth loved the new, yet familiar, surroundings and experiences.

The more than 3,000 printing plates making up the presentation had already been imaged and, as such, also reflected the strategy of sustainability adopted by Heidelberg. In fact, the entire booth had a neutral carbon footprint.
