MISSISSAUGA, ON—July 24, 2015—A Komori S640 printing press became the last reconditioned machine to be supplied from Howard Graphic Equipment (HGE) facilities outside Toronto. Transported on four trucks, the press is on its journey to its new home in New York.
After nearly five decades of operating one of the world’s best facilities for rebuilding of printing and allied equipment, HGE announced its plans to reorient its business strategy and will concentrate solely on growing the buy and sell sector of its equipment supply business. This press represents a culmination of more than 4,500 press units that have been through its facilities since 1967. Plus, nearly 2,500 pre- and post-press equipment, including Bobst, Polar, Muller Martini stitchers and perfect binders—one of special highlight: a 45-pocket Muller Martini—the largest capacity perfect binding line in South America.
HGE's mandate and commitment to customers in 74 countries remains the same: the company will not sell anything that it would not buy itself. HGE focuses on offering customers the very best in market knowledge and technical know-how. After all the decades of rebuilding, the staff loves to share insights and expertise with the industry. With its active day-to-day involvement, the company will to continue to be a source for quality pre-owned equipment. Its tradition and values continue.
By drawing on the history and experience since its founding in 1967, and with a finger constantly on the pulse of the industry, HGE can provide USPAP-compliant certified valuations on a complete plant or one single machine, as well as fully qualified consultative services for buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, cause and origin determination, and budgetary figures for rebuilding.
