Press Acquisition Caps New Digital Studio for GLS
BROOKLYN PARK, MN—GLS Cos., a printing and digital marketing services provider, recently finished the installation of an HP Indigo 10000 to complete its new Digital Studio.
In celebration of the grand opening, CEO Gary Garner and President/COO Jayme Wisely participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. "After months of research, planning and hard work by many committed individuals, it is with great pride that the GLS Digital Studio is open and running smoothly at its full capacity," Garner said. "We are thrilled to be able to bring forth the latest technology in our industry and all the benefits it has to offer our customers.”
The HP Indigo 10000 digital press boasts a larger sheet size of 20x29.5˝, and claims to provide offset-matching print quality with superior color and detail, as well as high production speeds with variable data capabilities. It is said to be the first fully operational Indigo 10000 in the Twin Cities.
In addition to the HP Indigo 10000, the Digital Studio operates two smaller digital presses, an HP Indigo 7500 and an HP Indigo 5000, along with several finishing stations.
