HYBRID Software is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Agness to executive vice president for the Americas, responsible for all sales and operations in North and South America. Mike will operationally replace Mike Rottenborn, who was recently named CEO of Global Graphics Software, based in Cambridge, UK, effective Jan. 1, 2020.
Michael Agness joined HYBRID Software in 2011 after a long career at Pitman Company and Agfa Corp. and currently holds the position of VP Sales for North America.
Guido Van der Schueren, Chairman of HYBRID Software, states, “Mike brings a unique blend of technical and sales expertise to HYBRID Software, leading our continued push in the packaging market. His experience and knowledge of our products and customer base make him an excellent candidate to assume operational responsibility for HYBRID Software in the Americas.”
Three other company employees have also received recent promotions and will report directly to Mike Agness. Carlos Arizpe joined HYBRID three years ago after a career with Eastman Kodak and Grupo Sanchez in Mexico. He is now the Sales Director for Latin America. David Bolduc, previously Senior Solutions Engineer, has been promoted to Project Manager, responsible for implementing all customer solutions. In addition, Derek Hurst has been promoted to Customer Service Manager for HYBRID’s customers in the US and Canada.
To assist with the transition and assure that it is seamless for both customers and employees, Mike Rottenborn will remain a member of the worldwide management team of HYBRID Software.
“Mike [Rottenborn] has done a terrific job taking HYBRID Software from a standing start to building a global organization with satisfied customers throughout the world. I look forward to continuing the vision put forth for HYBRID Software, both operationally and as well as the technological leader,” comments Mike Agness. “As someone who has worked with Mike [Rottenborn] for many years, I am pleased that I can still look to him for guidance. I look forward to leading HYBRID employees to continually advance personally and technically, and to grow together with our customers.”
