IBIS to Exhibit Its Smart-Binder SB-3 Plus HS at Hunkeler Innovationdays

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — January 23, 2017 — We are pleased to be exhibiting our Smart-binder SB-3 Plus HS at the 2017 Hunkeler Innovationdays show (Messe Lucerne, Switzerland, February 20- 23, 2017) in-line with Domino's K630i inkjet press and a Hunkeler web cutter and plow-folder.

The Smart-binder system will include an off-line sheet pile feeder (SB-097), a cover feeder (CIF-102) and a new cover auto-loader (CAL-101).

The Domino-Hunkeler-IBIS system will produce finished booklets at up to 7,000 booklets/hour with varying thicknesses, both wire-stitched and ISG cold-glued. The Smart-binder will be fed in-line from the Domino printer and also off-line from the SB-097 sheet pile feeder. The new-design cover auto-loader CAL-100 increases the maximum cover pile pile height from 20 to 200 mm.

Also on display will be the new IBIS Smart-Data Analysis System (SAS-100) showing an analysis of all Smart-binder production data.
