In the newest extension of its successful series of G7 Certification Programs, G7 Process Control Experts are equipped to deliver IDEAlliance’s new G7 Process Control Master Qualification Program.

G7 Process Control Master Qualification offers print providers, creative studios, and premedia operations the knowledge and tools to increase efficiency and predictability through the use of standards and the development of custom standard operating procedures (SOPs). G7 Process Control supports the ability to communicate, specify and assess color based on common expectations. Through on-site staff training and the development of SOPs, the G7 Process Control program supports the ability to quickly and efficiently create and move work across platforms, locations and media.
“Today’s print and premedia providers must redesign their operations to improve efficiency and to stay competitive,” said Steve Bonoff, executive vice president marketing of IDEAlliance. “Developing new standard operating procedures in print production requires a new set of skills and processes designed to serve client needs as well as the bottom line. G7 Process Control Experts are uniquely capable of delivering on both counts."
“As printing shifts from a craft to a manufacturing process, operating in a controlled production environment is a critical step for providers of creative and print services,” explains Joe Fazzi, director of the G7 Process Control program and vice president of media production technologies for IDEAlliance. “Buyers require confidence in their service provider's ability to deliver a repeatable product, and in doing so, service providers are able to build business and boost profits.”
Completion of the G7 Process Control Master Qualification Program provides the creative agency, premedia or print provider with a list of productivity deliverables, reference materials, and quarterly reports on quality. G7 Process Control provides media production facilities with more efficient production methods, education, and industry recognition in the form of a qualification certificate.
