Idealliance and Fujifilm Graphics Partner to Train 23 G7 Experts
During the last week of January, Idealliance and Fujifilm Graphics partnered to offer G7 Training for global participants to earn certification as G7 Experts. During the collaborative live, online training, 23 industry professionals joined G7 Expert Trainer Mike Whelpley, who taught about aligning color management and graphic supply chain workflows, using the leading color initiative in print consistency and near neutral appearance, G7.
These new G7 Experts and G7 Professionals attended the virtual G7 training, live-cast from the Fujifilm Graphics technical center. The training featured leading print technology, workflows, and solutions, to give these individuals the experience and ability to implement and replicate the processes used during G7 training in their own facilities, using their own technology to meet the needs of leading global brands and print buyers who specify G7 as part of their supply chain.
“G7 produces efficiencies in production, reducing make ready and downtime, allowing for quicker production, repeatable quality, and the ability to maintain print alignment with the G7 calibration method,” said Jordan Gorski, Idealliance Senior Vice President. “We are very happy to offer this training to help industry professionals save money and time through learning how to implement G7 in their workflows.”
The G7 print methodology specifies near neutral calibration and visual consistency of any 4 color CMYK print output, to align all print technologies, regardless of where, or how a product is printed. G7 is also the baseline for the most recognized reference print conditions targeted by printers, and requested by print buyers including GRACoL, and other CRPC’s specified as part of ISO/PAS 15339.
Several G7 online trainings are available for registration now to support global participants including training based in the United States & Europe, Mexico conducted in Spanish, and Australia.
