Imagine! Print Solutions Enhances Its Wide-Format Digital Print Capabilities

MINNEAPOLIS—Jan. 15, 2013—Imagine! Print Solutions recently enhanced its wide-format digital print capabilities with the addition of a new inkjet press, the Agfa M-Press Tiger. This high-speed, flatbed inkjet press is currently the only hybrid printing press with in-line screen printing capabilities.

Perfect for point-of-purchase (POP), point-of-sale (POS) signage and displays, this hybrid machine offers perfection in both production and quality. The :M-Press Tiger is the fastest engine in its class, running up to 170 full-size sheets per hour. Its modular design facilitates the best of digital and screen printing with near-offset print quality.

Key features of the Agfa :M-Press Tiger:

• Produces vibrant, four-color prints, along with spot colors, opaque whites, metallic inks and additional coatings through its inline screen printing unit.
• Delivers image quality of up to 1,26 x720 dpi, rendering fine text down to 4 pt., producing smooth color transitions and printing perfect flat color tints.
• Prints up to 62x102˝ with a maximum substrate size of 65x104˝, and handles a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates, up to .39˝ thick.
