Impact Color Obtains Wide-Format Latex Printer
ELMHURST, IL—Digital printing provider Impact Color has taken delivery of a new HP L26500 wide-format latex printer. John Schleich, president of Impact Color, said the HP printer was chosen to provide its customers with the highest possible print quality, fast project turnarounds, print longevity and an eco-friendly alternative to solvent printing.
The company—which serves retail POP, exhibit and design companies—considered a number of wide-format printers, including solvent machines, before making its purchase decision. “The new HP Latex L26500 was the obvious choice, offering a number of improvements over previous versions and competitive printers," Schleich said. "It includes extra printing width, increased speed and the ability to print double-sided.
“The HP L26500 prints with latex inks, a unique technology that is truly eco-friendly. Our customers are raving about the prints we produce. The quality is excellent and the prints don’t have the strong petroleum odor that solvent and eco-solvent prints have,” he added.
