Impact Color Takes Delivery of a Large-Format HP L26500 Latex Printer
ELMHURST, IL—Jan. 7, 2013—Digital printing provider Impact Color has taken delivery of a new HP L26500 wide-format latex printer. According to John Schleich, president of Impact Color, “The motivation for the purchase is to provide our customers the highest possible print quality, fast project turnarounds, print longevity, and an eco-friendly alternative to solvent printing. The L26500 printer does all of this and more.”
The company considered a number of large-format printers, including solvent machines, before making its purchase decision. “The new HP Latex L26500 was the obvious choice,” says Schleich, “offering a number of improvements over previous versions and competitive printers. It includes extra printing width, increased speed and the ability to print double-sided.
“The HP L26500 prints with latex inks, a unique technology that is truly eco-friendly. Our customers are raving about the prints we produce. The quality is excellent and the prints don’t have the strong petroleum odor that solvent and eco-solvent prints have,” he adds.
