Independent Printing Acquires Wide-Format Printing Specialist Hayes Graphics

DE PERE, WI—January 14, 2015—Independent Printing, a digital and offset printer based here, has acquired wide-format printing specialist Hayes Graphics in Mosinee, WI. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, reported the Green Bay Press Gazette.

With a fulfillment warehouse in Wausau, WI, and the acquisition of Hayes, Independent will strengthen its presence in the central Wisconsin region.

According to the Gazette, Hayes Graphics will change its name to Independent Printing Co. — Large Format Solutions, but will continue to operate in the same building with the same staff, including Hayes owner Bob Hayes. The transaction is effective immediately.

Independent Printing was founded in 1935 with a staff of just two employees operating out of a basement. Today, the print and communications firm has over 300 employees. Some of the services it offers include printing and finishing, presentation solutions, packaging, fulfillment and online services.
