Industry Mourns Loss of Edwards

ANN ARBOR, MI—Martin (Marty) Edwards, chairman of book and journal manufacturer Edwards Brothers and a 2001 inductee into the PRINTING IMPRESSIONS/RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame, passed away August 14 at the age of 74.

Mr. Edwards joined the company in 1954 and became its president in 1975. He served in that capacity until 1998, when his son, John, was appointed president and CEO.

Mr. Edwards also received the Signature Award for Lifetime Achievements from the Book Manufacturing Institute (BMI) in 2001.
