SHENZHEN, China - December 4, 2018 - Joseph J. Pasky, 73, of Shenzhen, China, formerly of Shrewsbury, Mass., died unexpectedly of pneumonia on Nov. 18, 2018. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology, summa cum laude, in 1974, and founded Cathay America in 2004. He was a PBBA Director for Asia and handled co-brokerage work for many of our reseller members. Joe was an intellectual and a G7 expert in the field of lithography and package converting.
"Joe was an important link for our trade association," commented PBBA Chairman Vincent Mallardi. "He was world-traveled, multilingual, an avid photographer, a folk guitarist, an American Sign Language interpreter for the deaf at PBS, and tutored Chinese students in English during his fourteen years in the PRC. No one in our association was like him – and our loss of Joe is both professional and personal."
He is survived by his brother, Robert; former wife, Meredith Pasky; former wife, Kathleen Wheeler and several cousins.
