Industry’s Top Consultants to Offer Guidance to Executive Outlook 2006 Attendees
Any graphic communications industry executive who has ever wished for an expert, objective consultant to guide him or her through today’s maze of business and technological challenges should be sure not to miss EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK® 2006 on October 14 in Chicago, says conference chair William Lamparter.
“All of the values an experienced, neutral industry consultant can offer to clients will be at the command of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK attendees,” Lamparter said.
EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK takes place the day before the doors open for the year’s foremost North American trade show for printing, publishing and converting: GRAPH EXPO® and CONVERTING EXPO® 2006. The show, which will draw thousands of people and offer more than 430,000 square feet of exhibits, runs from October 15-18 at the McCormick Place Complex.
The mission of EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK is to provide attendees with both technological and business data that can help them put the show floor displays in context and get the most out of their time at the expo, Lamparter said. One of the highlights of the conference will be the presentation of the “MUST SEE ’EMS®” of 2006, the products or booths chosen by a panel of industry editors and other experts as the most compelling of the show.
Shared expertise, though, is the principal means by which EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK will explore its theme of “Connecting Technology for Profit through Markets, Customers, Services, Products, and People.”
The full-day program offers current and detailed presentations by many of the leading consultants in the business, including:
Ray Prince, Senior Technical Consultant at PIA/GATF, who will speak on “Your Next Offset Press Purchase – Sorting Out the Bewildering Array of Possibilities” and “How to Achieve Faster, Problem-free Throughput.”
Andrew Tribute, Managing Partner, Attributes Associates, whose topics are “Computer-to-Plate – Metal and Poly” and “Digital Print Future Trends.”
C. Clint Bolte, President, C. Clint Bolte & Associates, speaking on “Hazardous Opportunity: Mailing, the Post Office and Fulfillment.”
Donald Goldman, Principal, ConsultW, on “Data Precedes Integrated Automation.”
Dennis Mason, President, Mason Consulting, Inc. and Donald Piontek, Principal, Finishing Resources, Inc., whose session on postpress technologies is entitled, “Is It Time for the Tail to Start Wagging the Dog? 21st Century Binding & Finishing.”
David Hunter, Principal, Pilot Marketing Group, who will speak on “Proofing – Hard, Soft, or Not at All?”
In addition, EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK 2006 will feature a keynote session on “Recovering from Adversity with Diversity” by Lamparter and William K. “Kip” Smythe, Vice President of NPES.
Prof. Emeritus Frank Romano of Rochester Institute of Technology will be luncheon speaker, and other conference sessions will focus on such topics as “The Next Wave of Disruptive Technology.”
EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK is part of a program of nearly 70 educational sessions that accompanies GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO.
