InfoPrint to Show New Cloud-Based, Managed ADF Workflow Service at National Postal Forum
BOULDER, CO—April 26, 2011—InfoPrint Solutions, a Ricoh company, today announced it will showcase its new Managed Automated Document Factory (ADF) Services, the industry's first managed workflow service powered by the cloud, at the 2011 National Postal Forum (NPF) taking place May 1-4, 2011 in San Diego, Calif. The company will also be conducting a live reprint demonstration with Kern, a leader in production mail solutions, illustrating how the often complicated task of generating a final insert log and automatic reprint can be made incredibly simple. InfoPrint Solutions' workflow experts will also be on hand at the event to meet with customers on topics ranging from file processing to print and postal preparation.
Launched just last month, Managed ADF Services is designed to help organizations ensure document integrity, meet compliance regulations, save costs and optimize processes with low up-front investment and an operational expense model. The new solution leverages the cloud to bring customers outstanding value while minimizing the burden on IT resources. Managed ADF Services is the newest addition to InfoPrint Solutions' workflow portfolio, and enables customers to take advantage of current offerings such as InfoPrint ProcessDirector. InfoPrint Solutions' ADF offerings have received top accolades from leading analyst firms IDC and Gartner, most notably; a 2010 IDC survey found that 68 percent of respondents receive their ADF solutions from InfoPrint Solutions1.
The solution will be on display at the InfoPrint Solutions booth at NPF, where companies can speak with InfoPrint Solutions' ADF experts about how Managed ADF can help reduce their overall print operations costs and IT burden while enabling a high integrity environment. The company will also be demonstrating InfoPrint ProcessDirector process automation software, along with a wide array of mailstream preparation capabilities including integrated address quality, sortation and automated reprinting workflows.
"InfoPrint Solutions' Managed ADF Services is our newest offering, illustrating our continuing commitment to innovative workflow solutions, where we leverage more than 20 years of experience optimizing print-to-mail environments," said Don Dew, ADF Solutions Manager, InfoPrint Solutions. "Managed ADF Services reduces dependence on scarce IT skills as well as the enhanced reporting and audit readiness capabilities desired by compliance officers, meeting the needs of mid-market transactional printers in highly compliant industries like financial services, healthcare and insurance, where regulatory and compliance requirements make print and mail operations very complex. As the industry's first cloud-based managed workflow solution, it is drawing a lot of attention from customers and we're excited to showcase it to attendees at this year's National Postal Forum."
In addition to the Managed ADF Service, InfoPrint Solutions will be conducting a live reprint generation demonstration with Kern, displaying easy-to-manage reprint workflow technology that enables customers to automatically validate an inserter's final job status and identify damaged mail pieces. Companies can then also choose how to handle the error without any complicated reprocessing, saving significant labor costs and creating a high-integrity working environment with low risk for an information breach. The demonstration uses the Kern K686 inserter mounted with a Kern mailFactory eyeV camera system to showcase InfoPrint Solutions' inserter communication and reconciliation technology, which works on any intelligent inserter or with any camera system. The easy to use system simplifies the reprint management process by enabling reprinting on any printer.
"Generating reprints can often be seen as a very complicated and time-consuming task," said Dave Squires, Senior Vice President, Kern. "The reprint workflow demonstration we're presenting with InfoPrint Solutions will showcase how fast, easy and low risk it can be. When it comes to workflow, InfoPrint Solutions is a true leader, and we're excited to partner with them at National Postal Forum."
