InfoPrint Now Solely Ricoh’s

BOULDER, CO—June 30 was an independence day of a sort for InfoPrint Solutions as the three-year joint venture between Ricoh and IBM's Printing Systems Division reached its planned completion. The company is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Ricoh Co. and its legal name remains InfoPrint Solutions Co., LLC.

According to a FAQ document released by the companies, “InfoPrint and Ricoh both agree that the best strategy to take advantage of the value InfoPrint brings to market is for it to remain an independent company. For InfoPrint customers, the end of the joint venture is largely business as usual, although customers can now more easily take advantage of the full breadth of offerings from Ricoh as well as InfoPrint.”

The company says it will continue to specialize in delivering and implementing Automated Document Factory (ADF), data-driven print-on-demand solutions, including hardware, software and professional services. It has established a new Website at www.infoprint.com.
