ANAHEIM, Calif. - April 27, 2018 - Rollem International is proud to present the Insignia6 sheet-fed flexo-magnetic rotary die cutter with a versatile sheet capacity of 20x20˝. Able to perform die cutting, kiss cutting, cut scoring, embossing, creasing, perforating and hole punching - all in one pass - the Insignia6 (as well as three other Insignia models) are available fully integrated with the new Chameleon line of multi-function folder-gluers. The combination of the Insignia and Chameleon creates one fully automated system for converting flat sheets into folded, glued, high-value products such as folded cartons, packaging products, direct mail and pocket folders.
Chameleon systems are ideally suited for progressive commercial printers that are looking to move beyond the traditional limitations of legacy systems. Virtually unmatched in today’s competitive marketplace, the combination of the Chameleon’s unique makeready platform - a flexible design that goes far beyond the abilities of traditional fixed frame machines - and industry-leading belt speed provide for quicker setups and faster production speeds on pocketed, direct mail, promotional and many other packaging products.
The Insignia Series has been widely adopted by commercial and package printers alike due to its ability to convert an extensive range of stocks extending beyond paper and board, including PVC, PET, plastic, vinyl, magnets and even lightweight aluminum. The new InsigniaX3 model handles hard-to-cut 30 pt. plastics commonly used for membership cards and medical ID cards.
Insignia and Chameleon both offer quick setup and easy changeover, making this system ideal for digital printers offering customized consumer products such as folded cartons for cosmetics, soaps, and craft boxes. Beverage labels, retail hang tags, and computer component inlays are also ideally suited for this model.
Insignia is now offered in four sizes: Insignia5 20x15˝, Insignia6 20x20˝, Insignia7 30x24˝ and InsigniaX3 24x24˝, and the Chameleon folder-gluer system is compatible for each model.
