Integrated Media Workflow Lab to Showcase Best Practices at PRINT 13
CHICAGO—August 29, 2013—IDEAlliance reports twelve technology suppliers have signed on to support a dynamic new launch at PRINT 13, the Integrated Media Workflow (IMW) Lab, being held in the IDEAlliance booth #4877. The IMW Lab will showcase the latest technologies and solutions transforming media production and distribution, where integration is now the name of the game. Twelve featured technology suppliers will be on-hand to showcase a range of workflow opportunities and to demonstrate how digital media content distribution channels can be added to the portfolio of today's print service providers.
Produced by IDEAlliance, the IMW Lab will present LIVE tours on the show floor at the Print 13 trade show at McCormick Place, Chicago, September 8-12, 2013. Featured suppliers showcased in the IMW Lab are: Bell & Howell, BenQ, CGS, Easypurl, EFI, Enfocus, Fujifilm, Gold Mobile, iMirus, Konica Minolta, North Plains and Xerox Corp. On Wednesday September 11, the featured suppliers will be holding educational sessions in the IDEAlliance Workflow Pavilion demonstrating their integrated solutions.
“Creating, producing and delivering media across multiple channels is no longer a linear process, but a dynamic set of actions requiring the effective integration of the media production process,” commented Steve Bonoff, executive vice president for IDEAlliance. “At the IMW Lab at PRINT 13, IDEAlliance is hosting a first-of-its-kind showcase of integrated workflow technologies and processes designed to demonstrate the ideal, dynamic multi-channel media workflow.”
In addition to the IMW Lab, IDEAlliance is hosting multiple expert training and special events on best practices in media production at PRINT 13. IDEAlliance is host to nine seminars in multiple tracks in the PRINT 13 Seminar Series. On the showroom floor in booth #4877, IDEAlliance is hosting a free G7 Summit: Masters of the Craft, on Sunday, September 8, for anyone interested in G7 and Process Control. On September 9, The Print Standards Forum will examine best practices for establishing a quality baseline with global print standards, for senior technology and business managers responsible for quality process control of premedia and print production. On September 10 in Seminar room S106B, the IDEAlliance Spectrum Conference 2013 offers a full day of case studies on companies successfully Bridging Print and Digital.
