International Paper also is filing notification with the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice as required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 (HSR). The HSR waiting period will expire on July 27, 2011, unless extended, which would not be unusual in these circumstances.
