Designed for coldset printing operations, X-Rite Inc.'s ATD News 2 color measurement system automates the process of evaluating color. The system quickly measures and reports density levels from continuous-color rules as small as 2mm in height. Version 2 features faster operation, single-pass scanning of a broadsheet gray bar, a new "PrintScreen" function for documenting measurements, ability to select six to 16 ink zones per page, and independent settings for ink density tolerance and gray balance range.
