Xerox Corp. announced a common platform for operating digital color and black-and-white production printers. The new Xerox DocuSP 2000XC controller increases compatibility between the company's DocuTech, DocuPrint and DocuColor printing lines. It enables operators to run jobs on multiple printers with common software and maximum productivity. Adding the optional DigiPath production software extends the DocuSP workflow to include job scanning, makeready, digital storage, as well as Web viewing and submission.
