Ironmark Donates $10,000 to Help Program Deliver Meals to Medical Teams and First Responders
Today, Ironmark announced a joint program with Ledo Pizza to provide meals to medical and first responder facilities. The program, "Pizzas for the Frontline," will enable nominations of health care teams to receive meals during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Ironmark is donating $10,000 to the "Pizzas for the Frontline" program, which kicked off yesterday with a 300-pizza delivery to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md. Alongside Ledo Pizza, Advanced Radiology is a client of Ironmark and will also be a lead sponsor of the program.
Jeff Ostenso, CEO of Ironmark, said, “We jumped at the opportunity to partner with two clients to give back to frontline health care workers and keep them refueled as they work grueling hours and long shifts due to the spread of coronavirus.”
Ostenso said 100% of the donation will be used to purchase meals for teams of hospitals, medical centers, care facilities, first responders, and other organizations helping to confront and reduce the amount of COVID-19 cases in the region.
“Anne Arundel Medical Center staff are so appreciative. They feel well supported here in the community and thank companies like Ironmark who are stepping up to help,” says Jennifer Navabi, Executive Director of Friends of Annapolis Moms, the organization helping to coordinate meals for Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Ironmark has also been supporting the fight against COVID-19 by sourcing PPE materials for healthcare and frontline organizations through its extensive network of local and international manufacturers, some of which have retooled their production plants to manufacture scarce items such as hospital gowns, masks, face shields, and more.
