Over the past few weeks, we have highlighted some of the printing companies that have stepped up to offer help and support to health care workers and first responders on the frontline battling the COVID-19 pandemic, and to communities in need. From those adjusting production to manufacture face masks and shields — RR Donnelley, Hatch Exhibits, Image Options, and Allied Printing Services, to name just a few — to creating signage to help spread awareness and understanding of the novel disease — such as in the cases of Morel Inks and Plum Grove, among many others.
Although we will continue to cover these uplifting stories, it's also important to acknowledge and thank those print service providers who have been there providing necessary resources.
That's the reason behind the #thankaprinter campaign. The initial video, created by Deb Corn of Print Media Centr, and Morten Reitoft, CEO of INKISH.TV, aims to thank printers in North America for all of the work that has been done to provide resources to those in need.
