JDF & CIM -- Issues Are Not so CIMple

When coordination is required between vendors, JDF provides a common framework and language that should greatly simplify the process. In addition, work done to link prepress system A with a press from manufacturer B, for example, can be leveraged to link with presses from manufacturers C, D and so on. The converse also holds true.
