JDF & CIM -- Issues Are Not so CIMple

Harvey contends that significant progress already has been made toward delivering on JDF's promise. "More than 400 pairings of products have been successfully tested at CIP4 interoperability events and NGP Partners advertises 150 successful pairings," he points out. "As of October 2004, there are 161 products and services listed in the CIP4 'JDF Marketplace' (reference guide). In addition to those listed, CIP4 is aware of at least 25 other companies providing JDF solutions, most of which are smaller MIS and software companies.
