DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - June 29, 2018 - JKG Group announced it won Gold as a "Company of the Year" in the Company Growth category at the CEO World Awards, to be hosted July 30, 2018 in San Francisco. JKG Group has executed several highly strategic initiatives in the past year to position for continuing growth. Recent leadership changes have brought new vision to the company, a well-respected South Florida commercial printer since 1984, along with new investments in its future.
“We’re systematically transforming JKG Group to meet the market’s shifting needs and ensure we remain a force for the future,” said Adam Gittlin, president of JKG Group since 2015.
“Our reinvestment strategy has driven dramatic growth in our product packaging business as well as in fulfillment services,” he said. “To meet demand, we’ve implemented lean manufacturing and lean management initiatives that have helped us streamline processes and reap productivity gains.”
JKG Group is continuing to fuel this growth with additional investments in infrastructure. Last year, the company enhanced its digital printing power by adding a state-of-the-art Xerox iGen 5 digital press. The iGen’s sophisticated computer enables seamless inline printing of variable data and images to support highly targeted client marketing campaigns.
Other recent acquisitions include a specialized inkjet printer that enables bar codes, expiration dates and other fine-print variable data to be printed on small labels and directly onto consumer goods packaging. The company also successfully renewed its G7 Master Certification, demonstrating compliance with industry standards and ensuring consistent color across equipment.
“The past year has been exciting for us,” added Gittlin. “To be recognized for our efforts, as a Company of the Year Gold Award winner, makes it that much more rewarding.”
