Our friends at INKISH TV, a TV-channel dedicated to the printing industry, caught up with John Mullins from PrintVis USA at Graph Expo 16.
Headquartered in Denmark, PrintVis USA offers PrintVis, an MIS that sits inside of a Microsoft Dynamics ERP, a Microsoft Dynamics nav.
One of the latest releases to come from PrintVis USA from Graph Expo 16, is a PrintVis extension that will sit inside of Dynamics 365, which is the latest release for Microsoft. "So now, instead of having to access your email and a separate ERP application, you can access them all in one," explains Mullins. "So, it's really trying to drive the end user to be a little more self-service."

Mullins also adds that the company also finished an integration with the structural design software for packaging, Esko ArtiosCAD. ArtiosCAD allows the user to to design and build 2D and 3D prototypes, layouts for optimal use of substrates and even generate dielines right within the program to eliminate file conversion errors which sometimes occur between a packaging manufacturer and its die supplier.
"Another product that we currently have is Power BI that's coming up from Microsoft. Business Intelligence has been a big buzzword in the software world for quite a while," concludes Mullins.
