JP Graphics Signs LOI to be An Early Adopter of Komori Impremia NS40
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. — February 6, 2017 — Komori America Corporation announced that JP Graphics, Appleton, Wis., has committed to be an early adopter of the Komori Impremia NS40 to meet the needs of its diverse client base that includes advertising agencies, marketing firms and large publishers. The Komori Impremia NS40 made its official debut at drupa 2016, and is a groundbreaking digital printing system that combines the versatility of digital with the quality and speed of offset printing at an unmatched cost per page.
The Landa Nanography technology featured in the Impremia NS40 is built on a Komori platform and uses independently developed water-based inks that bond instantaneously to the substrate while printing at speeds of up to 6,500 sheets per hour. These proprietary inks and the innovative nanographic printing process result in printed sheets that are abrasion resistant, require no postdrying and leave no residual ink on the blanket. These features make it possible for the Impremia NS40 to produce offset-quality work with brilliant color coupled with aggressive turnaround times.
“Since our inception in 1969, we’ve made it a point to utilize the most current technology, and we are very excited to partner with Komori on the NS40. This technology really is the future of print,” said Rod Stoffel, president and owner of JP Graphics.
Jacki Hudmon, senior vice president, business development for Komori America, also adds, "JP Graphics has consistently adopted new technology to evolve and grow, and we’re thrilled to continue our partnership. The Impremia NS40 will further support this company’s deep commitment to its customers to provide the most innovative solutions in print.”
