Karen Heumann Is Appointed New Member of the Supervisory Board at Heidelberg

HEIDELBERG, Germany — April 1, 2016 — Karen Heumann (50) has joined the supervisory board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). The entrepreneur and advertising strategist was appointed by the Mannheim Court of Registration on March 24, 2016. In line with the recommendations of the German Corporate Governance Code, Karen Heumann will be nominated for election by the shareholders in a separate agenda item at this year’s Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG Annual General Meeting on July 28, 2016.

Karen Heumann is a founder of thjnk AG, a leading agency group that specializes in marketing communications, where she has been Spokesperson of the Management Board since 2012. Before that, Heumann spent almost 20 years in leading roles at international advertising agencies. She has substantial experience of the work carried out by supervisory boards and is an important contact for all brand and communication issues.
