KBA’s Frankenthal Press Plant Celebrating Its 150th Jubilee

1971: Berlin subsidiary GMB
In 1965 the company acquired a small firm in Spandau (Berlin). In 1971 it changed its name to Albert-Frankenthal AG and the subsidiary was renamed Graphischer Maschinenbau GmbH (GMB). Following a cooperative agreement with a rival, Miller Johannisberg, the Berlin factory started producing screen-printing presses and dryers.
