KBA Taps Industry Veteran Don Coggswell as Western Regional Sales Director
DALLAS—May 24, 2012—KBA North America announces that Don Coggswell has been tapped by KBA as its western regional sales director. In this newly created position, Coggswell will report to Soren Larsen, senior vice president of sales, and will be responsible for a direct territory consisting of the states of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
In addition, three KBA sales managers will report to Coggswell as well. As third responsibility, he will manage the commercial web sales effort of KBA’s web division in the western region.
“I am pleased to be joining KBA in this newly-created position,” says Coggswell. “KBA is the most progressive printing press manufacturer in the industry. It offers the most diverse technologically-advanced equipment line for any printer—from small shops to the largest printing firms. The future looks very bright for KBA and the entire printing industry.”
Coggswell is an industry veteran with an extensive background in printing press sales. He spent 11 years building a sales territory in Texas and its surrounding states for a Japanese press manufacturer and was five times named Salesman of the Year. He was subsequently promoted to lead a region for the same company where in seven years he was named Regional Sales Manager of the Year three times.
Most recently, Coggswell was the national sales manager for the U.S. agency of a small-format press manufacturer. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
“Don Coggswell will be a key addition to our sales staff,” says Soren Larsen, senior vice president of sales for KBA. “His deep experience in both printing sales and management will be an invaluable asset to the continued success of our company.”
