Shop Employee Found Dead in Parking Lot
NEW BRITAIN, CT—The body of an employee with more than 30 years of service to his printing company was discovered Monday in the rear parking lot of the property that includes his employer, a newspaper and other businesses, the New Britain Herald reported.
The employee was identified as Kenneth Pacyna, who worked as a pressman for Sir Speedy Printing Center here. Pacyna had worked for the franchise for several years and had logged more than 30 years with a previous company, Spano Printing. Mark Bernacki purchased Spano Printing and converted it to a Sir Speedy franchise.
Pacyna's body was discovered around 7:30 a.m. by an employee of the Herald, which shares the parking lot with Sir Speedy. While police are still investigating, there were no obvious signs of trauma and they do not suspect foul play, the Herald reported.
