Adam told print businesses to let their customers in on how things are going and if things are stable. Make them feel comfortable. DeSousa agreed, saying now is the best time to engage with clients and prospects. Every buyer is scared, wondering if providers will have paper or if their printer is going out of business.
“Be the next person up when their current printer doesn’t come through. Be there to solve that problem,” DeSousa stated.
Panelists agreed there will be a rebound at some point, and with some time and effort to understand the current market and its needs and changes, print companies can prepare for it.
“Strong companies come out of these types of economic downturns in a better position,” DeSousa asserted.
