Kodak Nexpress Presses Help InfoCision Dial in Revenue
ROCHESTER, NY—Mar. 10—Since its founding in 1982, global corporations and nonprofit organizations have been calling on InfoCision Management Corporation to help manage their contact center solutions and fundraising campaigns. So when the Akron, Ohio teleservices company needed an innovative way to better serve its donors and clients, while supporting its newly formed digital print and direct mailing operation, it called on Kodak. And with the installation of two new Kodak Nexpress S3000 Digital Production Color Presses and a Kodak Nexpress M700 Digital Color Press, the company is now better positioned to grow its business, and more importantly, grow revenue for both corporate and nonprofit clients.
“At InfoCision, we pride ourselves on providing every client with the highest possible return on investment,” said Ken Dawson, Chief Marketing Officer, InfoCision Management Corporation. “And it starts by investing in and expanding our current digital printing capabilities. The Nexpress Presses help us do more for our customers than ever before, including offering one-to-one marketing via variable data direct mail. This allows us to provide the most effective services possible, which produces superior results for our clients.”
The Kodak Nexpress S3000 Press is a high-end production press in the Nexpress Press platform producing 3,000 A3 sheets per hour, or 100 A4 pages per minute for the full range of supported substrate types (coated, uncoated, synthetics, standard offset paper, textured stocks and selected packaging board, labels and forms) and weights (60-350 gsm). The Nexpress S3000 Press combines speed, the unique operator replaceable component service model and an extensive online operator support system to provide outstanding cut sheet productivity to print providers. The 5-color configuration enables the Kodak Nexpress Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions, which when combined with Kodak Nexpress Intelligent Dimensional Coating Solution and Kodak Nexpress Dimensional Clear Dry Ink, enables raised printing that gives images a dimensional feel that mimics the surface of the items in the image. The Nexpress Fifth Imaging Unit Solution also relies on press profiling and standard inks to match up to 82 percent of the PANTONE® spot color gamut with no custom mixing required.
The four color, 70 page per minute KODAK NEXPRESS M700 Digital Color Press runs at rated speed across all common substrates and features five paper feeders with a 6,000 sheet capacity to handle mixed media from all feeders. It produces excellent text and graphics, solid density, vibrant colors across a wide gamut, and high resolution for application versatility.
