HID 2025: Kodak PROSPER 7000 Turbo Press with Hunkeler Finishing
At Hunkeler, Kodak is presenting the PROSPER 7000 Turbo Press, printing with water-based KODAK EKTACOLOR Inks in a roll to roll configuration, featuring a Kodak-designed and manufactured unwinder and rewinder. As the world’s fastest inkjet press, it reaches speeds of up to 410 meters per minute, making it a powerful solution for high-volume production.
With three adjustable print modes – Turbo, Performance, and Quality – printers can easily optimize speed and quality for each job, enabling seamless migration of direct mail, commercial, transactional, and book printing from offset to digital.
In collaboration with Horizon International and Hunkeler, Kodak will also showcase end-to-end production workflows. A saddle-stitched catalog will be produced on a Horizon iCE StitchLiner Mark V, while the Hunkeler Direct mail solution will demonstrate high-speed direct mail production.
