The Insite Prepress Portal System is an Internet portal into the Kodak Prinergy Workflow System. The Insite System streamlines job submission, job status tracking, online collaboration, and remote proofing or approval.
Kodak Magnus Quantum Platesetter: The Kodak Magnus 800 Quantum Platesetter can be found at the KBA and Sakurai stands. An eight page platesetter with exceptional imaging quality and speed, the Kodak Magnus 800 Quantum Platesetter features Kodak SQUARESPOT Imaging Technology and KODAK Staccato Screening, and produces up to 40 plates per hour.
Kodak Pressproof Software: Kodak Pressproof Software will be shown at the KBA stand. Pressproof Software brings monitor proofing’s color accuracy and time savings into the pressroom. Kodak Versamark DS9050 Printing System: The Kodak Versamark DS9050 Printing System can be found at the Matti Technology stand. The Versamark DS9050 Systems are capable of producing variable data in black, spot color or process color, and can be integrated with other printing technologies. The DS9050 Printing System product line offers a the capability to have multiple configurations of up to 16 heads printing variable information on web widths up to 1 meter (40 inches). Kodak Versamark DS6240 Printing System, 3,000 fpm version: Sample output and a video of on press performance of the Kodak Versamark DS6240 Printing System can be found at the MAN Roland stand. This version of the DS6240 runs 3,000 feet per minute and can imprint variable data onto newspapers at newspaper press speeds. This ultra high speed systems offers newspapers the capability to drive readership through more interactivity with the newspaper by printing games, variable coupons, 2D barcodes that link to the internet via cell phones, and other creative applications. The DS6240 is flexible in its ability to integrate with both the physical press as well as the newsprint system control capability.
