With Michael Ulverich and Dr. Stephen M. Kimmich, the Supervisory Board of Koenig & Bauer AG appoints two new Management Board members.
From April 15, 2020, Ulverich will take over the new Management Board as chief operating officer. His future responsibilities include materials management, purchasing, logistics and the 'Industrial' production companies at the sites in Würzburg and Radebeul as well as the subsidiary in Frankenthal. Ulverich was most recently managing director and chief operating officer at Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann.
Dr Kimmich will also take over as CFO on April 15, 2020. Dr. Kimmich succeeds Dr. Mathias Dähn, who will leave the company in agreement with the Supervisory Board on April 30, 2020. The Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Dähn for his outstanding work for Koenig & Bauer. He has played a key role in the realignment and turnaround of Koenig & Bauer since 2014.
In order to further accelerate the digitization offensive that has already been successfully launched, the Supervisory Board has also appointed the Management Board member Ralf Sammeck to take over the group-wide coordination of the digital transformation in addition to his previous areas of responsibility.
In the wake of the corona crisis and the associated uncertainties for holding meetings, this year's annual general meeting of the company will be postponed to July 14, 2020 in Würzburg, Germany.
