Komori America Supports 2019 Continuous Improvement Conference as a Gold Sponsor
Komori America announces it is a Gold Sponsor of the 2019 Continuous Improvement Conference, presented by Printing Industries of America (PIA) and Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), being held April 14-17 in Dallas, Texas. The Continuous Improvement Conference is the only annual event focused on helping print manufacturers achieve operational excellence by using the concepts of lean manufacturing and other management and quality systems.
Komori, a company that operates under the core business principles of continuous improvement, will be sharing the benefits of KP-Connect, Komori’s cloud–based, real-time productivity solution. KP-Connect plays a key role in driving continual process improvements throughout a print operation with its ability to provide real-time operating status including notification of abnormalities and errors, enabling immediate response and correction. Visibility and detailed analysis of press operating conditions allows printing companies to examine their entire print operation at a granular level and make recommendations for internal improvements.
“To succeed in today’s print marketplace, print companies must do everything they can to preserve or expand margins and profitability. In the face of external pressures that are often hard to control, an internal focus on operational excellence is essential to reducing the cost of production and improving margins,” said Matt Buisson, digital software specialist for Komori America. “We look forward to having an active part in the 2019 Continuous Improvement Conference as together we seek to find ways to achieve greater efficiencies that will positively impact the bottom line.”
