Komori to Unveil its Latest Technology Advancements at October Open House
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL—July 26, 2010—Komori America Corp., a premier manufacturer of sheetfed and web offset printing presses, will showcase two of its newest developments at an open house on Saturday, October 2 at its Rolling Meadows, IL facility. The event will mark the U.S. debut of Komori’s new KwikDri UV drying system and the U.S. introduction of the Enthrone 29, a new half-size press.
The open house will start at 4 p.m. and transportation will be provide to and from Chicago hotels. Along with being introduced to the latest technology, guests will also be treated to dinner and live entertainment.
“Many of our customers will already be in Chicago at this time to attend GRAPH EXPO. This event will give us an opportunity to showcase our latest developments and spend enjoyable time with our customers in the process,” said Susan Baines, director of marketing for Komori America Corp.
The Komori KwikDri UV drying system will be featured on an eight color Lithrone S40 Perfector.
“The KwikDri UV drying technology was first shown at IPEX 2010 and is an ideal drying system for two-sided printing—delivering mark-free, bindery ready sheets,” said Doug Schardt, sheetfed product manager. “The Enthrone 29 is an economical half-size press that is perfect for short-run work because of its fast make-ready and outstanding print quality. Demonstrations of the presses will focus on press efficiency, reduced waste, and will highlight how Komori America’s presses can get to stable color in just 20 sheets.”
Several of Komori America’s vendor partners will be on hand at the event, including Harris & Bruno, Nordson UV, Toyo Ink, Sappi, Itotech and Boettcher.
