Konica Minolta Sets Date for PROKOM 2018 Global Conference
LANGENHAGEN, Germany - March 26, 2018 - PROKOM, Konica Minolta’s user community for production print providers, has today announced its second global conference will be held in Budapest, Hungary, on June 6 and 7 this year.
Konica Minolta’s rapid growth in digital production printing created a global demand for the user group. PROKOM started in Europe, last year expanded into North America and now has ambitious future growth plans for China, Asia and Australia.
PROKOM provides wide-ranging support for its members from e-learning courses, self-help videos, forums, expert content, market research as well as webinars, newsletters and local events.
“Our mission is to create a community for our members to connect, learn and grow,” said Michael Kelly, who heads up marketing for PROKOM. “We want to develop a platform where they can come together, build better solutions and future proof their business for the years ahead.”
Kelly added: “We provide a digital platform to support our members, by sharing knowledge and exploring new ideas. One of our core values is to help members grow their businesses to make them more profitable.”
“PROKOM members know it’s not just about how they use printing technology but how they shape print to the changing demands of business. We encourage members to be ambitious, challenge the status quo and look for opportunities to diversify in a multi-channel world.”
PROKOM offers membership to any Konica Minolta user of production printing equipment.
The inaugural PROKOM conference in May 2017 in Vienna, Austria, attracted 170 delegates. The overwhelming success has led to the second global conference, entitled Predictably Profitable. It will feature industry-leading keynote speakers, breakout tracks, panel debates and networking sessions.
Guiding PROKOM is an advisory board chaired by Andy Barber, Managing Director UK Mail Ltd, who said: “PROKOM began with a focus on Europe, but we’ve seen fantastic growth in the number of members from North America and Canada, as well as support in areas such as Russia and Asia. We now have more than 700 members and numbers are rising. We are really encouraged by the success and look forward to announcing some exciting developments for the future of PROKOM in April 2018.”
Topics for the conference will be announced soon. Register for the PROKOM Conference 2018 here.
