WAUKEGAN, Ill. - January 28, 2019 - On Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, Ralph L. Johnson, CEO of Lake County Press, passed away at the age of 89.
As a third generation printer, Mr. Johnson's leadership, vision and desire positioned Lake County Press (LCP) as a leader in the graphic arts industry. His constant pursuit to be the best formed LCP into a premier, multi-color printer for the highly discernible graphics industry, worldwide.
Mr. Johnson's passion for craftsmanship was cultivated through his ongoing relationships with Heidelberg and other industry giants. He was also a 2008 inductee into the Printing Impressions/RIT Printing Industry Hall of Fame.
His vision and leadership positioned LCP to be recognized by brands worldwide as being an elite print provider. LCP will forever carry Mr. Johnson's core values, vision and passion for exploration and development of technologies moving into the future.
