LCP Buys Wicklander Assets

WAUKEGAN, IL—Lake County Press (LCP) has acquired certain assets of Chicago-based sheetfed specialist Wicklander Printing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As part of the deal, Wicklander Printing President Jim Wicklander, six other key members of the management team and several support personnel will join Lake County Press.

Wicklander Printing ranked 205th on the Printing Impressions 400 list in 2003 with sales just eclipsing $27 million. Lake County Press was ranked 157th with more than $37 million in revenues.

The services of Venture 10 were utilized to coordinate and complete the transaction.
