Linemark Printing Completes Installation, G7 Certification of Three HP Indigos
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — August 10, 2016 — Linemark Printing has announced that it has completed the installation and G7 certification of three new HP Indigo digital presses, including the HP Indigo 10000 format.
The new machines were installed to increase capacity and standardize color for both of Linemark's national, commercial and photo product clients. Speaking about the company's latest purchase, President Steve Bearden notes, "The HP technology significantly increases our efficiency through higher press utilization and more consistent color management." Linemark's first Indigo purchase was in 1998 with the second generation "Turbo-Stream" at the beginning of the digital printing revolution. Almost 20 years later, both companies continue to innovate.
While production efficiency is important, Linemark's focus has always been towards the client. David Ashton, executive VP notes, "Our clients will benefit immensely from these additions. Our commercial clients will see added personalized print channel support for their marketing needs and our photo book and yearbook partners will be able to leverage product/brand consistency through network profile sharing."
Linemark has also launched a marketing initiative to demonstrate some of the expanded applications that are now available by leveraging the HP Indigo 10000. With a larger 20x29˝ format, personalized direct mail campaigns can innovate dramatically. The company is trending social media with #ThisChangesEverything.
