LOS ANGELES—Doug Rawson, founder and CEO of large-format packaging printer Superior Lithographics, has been named 2011 Executive of the Year by the Printing Industries Association of Southern California (PIASC). The award recognizes Rawson's contributions to the industry as a longtime member of the PIASC board, as well as his innovation in developing the Los Angeles-based company.
Rawson founded Superior Lithographics in 1988 with three employees and a used manroland 50˝ press. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily during more than two decades, and now generates nearly $20 million in annual revenues.
