Contracts Awarded to Brown, Worldcolor, RRD
WASECA, MN—Brown Printing announced that it has reached a five-year agreement with Hearst Magazines to produce and distribute five of the publisher's magazine titles. This agreement significantly expands the relationship between Hearst and Brown.
Brown has produced the Food Network Magazine since its launch in June of 2009 and, under the new agreement, will continue to produce the title at its facility here. Esquire, Marie Claire, Popular Mechanics, and Town&Country will be new additions to Brown's relationship with Hearst and will begin production in January 2011.
In addition, Montreal-based Worldcolor has signed a multiyear agreement to print Cosmopolitan, Country Living, Redbook and Seventeen magazines for Hearst. Worldcolor has been a long-time printer of Cosmopolitan and Country Living, and under this new agreement will begin printing Redbook and Seventeen for the first time.
RR Donnelley of Chicago has been awarded a multiyear catalog production and distribution services agreement by Williams-Sonoma Inc., a specialty retailer of products for the home. Under the terms of the agreement, RR Donnelley will produce the Williams-Sonoma, Williams-Sonoma Home, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Bed & Bath catalogs.
