Mailstream System by Rollem Offers New Scratch-off Label Feature (Includes Video)

ANAHEIM, CA—November 12, 2013—Rollem International's Mailstream has been updated to offer additional features. This is a fully automated direct mail finishing system that converts press sheets into finished mail products. It now includes new applications, such as a Metallic Scratch-off Label applicator to cover sensitive data or codes.

Printers and direct mail providers can now offer the ‘scratch-off label’ feature on a variety of applications such as security or software codes, prizes, game announcements or personal data. In addition, a Tape Strip Application for Sealing of BRM cards is also available. With 10 processes in one system, the Mailstream is a true profit center.

Mailstream offers uninterrupted processing, which saves on labor and stock movement, and multiple processes are performed in one system with delivery in mail sort order. High-volume production includes glue closure during final folding and speeds up to 4,000 sph or 8,000 mailers per hour, based on a two-up press sheet as shown in photo. Mailstream is fully customizable to meet a customers’ specific jobs.
