MATTOON, IL—An RR Donnelley employee was arrested and charged with theft for allegedly stealing around 140,000 pounds of copper-aluminum sheeting during the course of a three-year period and covering it up, the Journal Gazette & Times-Courier reported.
Wallace Sanders, 55, was accused of robbing about $60,000 worth of sheeting and altering company records to cover up the thefts. The arrest resulted from a Coles County Sheriff's Office investigation into thefts at the printing plant. The office said that other people will be charged with theft, as well.
